Winkey assumes responsibility beyond the company itself, taking our customers, consumers,
employees, society and the environment all into account. We are considering environmental
and social conditions whilst working toward efficient production. Like our company itself,
our sustainable step will continue forward as an ongoing process.
At Winkey, green chemistry means never compromising health and environment for results. We are dedicated to developing safe, clean products that deliver real results, and responsible for the control of production process as well as ingredients.
Therefore, we prioritize ingredients that are ethically sourced, non-animal origin as well as cruelty-free, and we use sustainable or renewable bio-based sources wherever possible. Collaborations with outstanding universities and reputable institutes are of great help for us to develop effective and novel cosmetic ingredients which are origin from plant and marine. We also try to combine innovation with sustainability by the means of optimizing product formulation, for example, by upgrading products that do not contain solubilizers, which contain carcinogens ethylene oxide (E.O) or may be contaminated with it during manufacturing.
For the production process, we strictly abide by the management system requirements such as ISO9001, EFfCI GMP, RSPO, and the ISO 14001 environmental system to maintain sustainable day to day operations and ensure product safety and quality.
In addition, reducing dangerous chemical synthesis is one of our main goals, which has led us to develop new synthetic processes, e.g. biosynthesis, which is the economical, efficient and environmentally friendly alternative of chemistry and physical methods. Compared with chemical synthesis, biological synthesis reduces not only the production of harmful substances or waste in the production process but also the harm to operators because of the safer solvents and auxiliaries. Furthermore, we plan ahead to minimize waste at every step and prioritize the prevention of waste rather than cleaning up and treating waste after it has been created.
